How to start off your acting career? (Step 3: Blog)

By now you should have a good smooth start to initializing your career. So now, it’s important that you start a blog and there are many cites that offer you an account for free. A blog is a great way of getting yourself out there and showcasing your knowledge and experience. Plus, blogs have increased in popularity over the past few years. Today, EVERYONE has a blog.
Like my blog, you should customize it to your personality and talk about things that matter. I suggest you don’t talk about yourself all the time, as no body really cares about you or anything that you’ve been doing. For example, talking about what you’ve done during the day or what you feel isn’t really going to interest people, especially artists who are reading your blog to get insight into the acting industry. The main idea of your blog is to give reliable information and tips about acting, the industry and what is happening NOW. More so, the main drive of your blog should be to be different and offer something to the public, essentially actors, that nobody has done before.
Once you’ve started your blog you should update it and add a new post at least twice a week. Also, add something to define you and show your personality, like a catch line. Use language that is appropriate but you. Don’t be afraid to be over the top, people like that. And never use information from an outside source and not quote it, that’s illegal first of all :) and it’s of bad taste. You wouldn’t want someone stealing your stuff would you? Therefore, use reliable information and do your research before you go mouthing off about something that’s not true.

Coming up soon… Step 4: Website/ Sample Products! It’s gonna be a good one!!

            Happy Acting!

            Thank you!
